Idlis
Ingredients :
- Num-Num Powder- 5 tbsp
- Curd- 5 tbsp
- Grated veggies of your choice- 2-3 tbsp
- Ghee- 1 tsp
- Mustard seeds- ¼ tsp
- Cumin Seeds- ¼ tsp
- Chopped green chillies- ¼ tsp (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fruit salt (ENO)- 1 tsp
Procedure :
- Mix in the Num-Num powder and curd and rest for 10 mins.
- Add water to get a batter like consistency. Add the grated veggies and salt.
- Heat ghee in a pan and splutter the mustard and cumin seeds. Add the chillies to it and off goes the flame.
- Add this mixture to the batter and mix well.
- Just before steaming add the fruit salt and give a good mix.
- Grease the idli moulds with oil/ghee. Pour the batter and steam the idlis for 12-15 mins.
- Serve these delicious and healthy Num-Num idlis with sambar and chutney.
