In this wonderful cereal we use hand pounded rice that is rich in nutrients like fibre, protein, and iron. Hand pounded rice is easier to digest for babies than brown rice.
We add green, unripe bananas to rice that help to absorb nutrients like calcium better than ripe bananas and also do not cause cough and cold in babies!
How to make your porridge:
- 1. Sterilize the pan, bowl, and spoons with hot water
- 2. Take 2 tablespoons of porridge in a pan
- 3. Add 150 ml of water slowly to the porridge powder. Stir the mixture to avoid lumps in it.
- 4. Cook the mixture on medium flame for 8 mins.
- 5. Add some jaggery/dates powder to sweeten it.
- 6. Add 2 spoons of milk when the porridge is lukewarm.
- 7. Do not add salt or sugar for babies below 1 year.
